How financial planner Sarah Siddons is helping to ease the burden on clients by guiding them towards their financial goals in 2026.

It’s been just over a year since award-winning Chartered Financial Planner Sarah Siddons, formerly of Siddons & Co Financial Planning, joined forces with the renowned Bowcliffe Wealth Management, a Senior Partner Practice of St. James’s Place. Still operating from the Skipton Road offices in Ilkley, the union at the end of November 2024 has enabled her to offer clients a deeper level of service supported by a stronger infrastructure.

Reflecting on a year shaped by a new Labour government, ongoing tensions in the Middle East, Donald Trump’s second term, and shifting global trade dynamics, Sarah remains as committed as ever to guiding her clients towards clarity, confidence, and long-term security. Her passion for helping women, particularly those navigating the financial complexities of divorce, continues to be a defining thread in her work.

“My favourite part of the job is still meeting clients and helping them understand their financial options at every stage of life. It’s what I’ve been passionate about for the past 17 years. Some clients have been with me throughout that whole time, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see the bespoke plans I created for them delivering exactly what we hoped for, allowing them to retire comfortably and happily.

“But in times of global uncertainty, when volatility inevitably ripples through the markets, my role is also about being at the other end of the phone, offering reassurance and a clear explanation of the choices available. Clients need to feel confident about their financial future, and sometimes the most valuable guidance I can offer is that, in certain moments, doing nothing can be a perfectly sound strategy.”
