November saw the launch of the seventh Banyan Bar & Kitchen across the North of England when they opened their doors at a stunning new site in Ilkley. The new bar and restaurant, extending over an impressive two floors and covering 5,000 sq ft, enjoyed a successful launch weekend as guests from far and wide packed out the refurbished venue where they were served complimentary drinks and tasters from the extensive new menu. Speaking of the new venue, Martin Wolstencroft, CEO of Arc Inspirations, commented: “I’m extremely proud to open our first venue in the town of Ilkley.
Our beautiful flagship brand Banyan will offer guests a sophisticated setting, no matter the occasion –
whether it’s catch ups over cocktails, a leisurely lunch, delicious dinner, or an upbeat evening out with friends. We’re looking forward to bringing something a little different to the area, and showing Ilkley what we do best!” Banyan Bar & Kitchen will be open all day seven days a week with guests treated to a sophisticated new look, an exceptional all-day dining menu and a premium drinks offering – including its renowned gin copas.
Menu highlights include its infamous healthy, nutritious and protein filled power bowls, and a small plates and sharers menu –
ideal for a light bite or group dining. The arrival of Banyan Bar & Kitchen in the town has created 35 full and part-time jobs in the local area and already proved a big hit with diners and drinkers. Run by Arc Inspirations, the group operates sixteen bars in the North of England grouped into four core brands: Banyan Bar & Kitchen, Manahatta, the Pit and its infamous student suburban bars – Arc and The Box.
