Glamp it up
After a year of longing to escape, beyond checks into Catgill Farm in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales and discovers a camp and glamping site you’re sure to fall in love with.
When it comes to getting back to nature and escaping the madding crowd, there is one special place nestled in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales that we think you’ll fall in love with.
Catgill Farm, which for 60 years operated as a working dairy farm is now home to a breathtaking camp and glamping site in the most beautiful and peaceful setting imaginable.
And with demand at record levels to escape to the country, it’s no wonder Catgill Farm has seen demand soar over the summer months.
Having first opened in 2014 as a campsite, the farm located in the shadow of Bolton Abbey, expanded its offerings in 2019 to provide timber pods and bell tents with hot tubs so guests could further enjoy this little slice of Yorkshire heaven in luxury.
Sadly because of the pandemic, few have managed to enjoy the stunning setting since then, but that is all about to change with an unprecedented number of bookings taken for this year
Run by Oliver and his partner Cat, whose dream was to open up their farm and its spectacular setting for all to enjoy, Catgill is now home to 100 tent pitches, eight timber pods and two bell tents that provide the most enchanting escape you could ever wish for.
Complete with a high quality toilet block, shop and onsite coffee house, the couple and their extended family have worked tirelessly to create a unique and unforgettable experience for all who visit this ultimate haven of tranquillity in the heart of God’s Own Country.
