My laziness knows no bounds on holiday. My makeup bag never sees the light of day, skincare is borderline passable and hair is laughable, so I avoid mirrors, but otherwise I’m happy to embrace my beauty lethargy. However, it does mean that it’s all hands to the pump to get myself back into a presentable state when I get home. Here are a few beauties worth checking out to prolong the holiday glow.
COLORWOW DREAM FILTER HAIR TREATMENT £26
This was recommended to me by my beautifully-maned friend. It filters out colour-distorting minerals to leave hair feeling refreshed and vibrant. And you only have to leave it in for 1-3 minutes so no faffing. It’s a game-changer.
AMELIORATE TRANSFORMING BODY CREAM £29
I love this stuff! It does exactly what it says and I particularly like it in a pot. Leaves skin feeling smooth, soothed, hydrated and healthy.
MEDIK8 C-TETRA® VITAMIN C RADIANCE SERUM £39
One of my all-time favourites for a delicious dose of
vitamin C to brighten skin and protect against free-radicals.
SELF-GLOW BY JAMES READ DUSK TO DAWN OVERNIGHT GLOW FACIAL £44
What a brilliant idea. An overnight serum containing a whole host of natural skin nourishing ingredients and self-tan so you wake up feeling glowy and fabulous.
CODE FFL FORGET FAKE LASHES £22
A totally new brand to me and definitely one worth checking out. Founded by two sisters and based in Chester, they make vegan and cruelty-free products. I’m currently using their lash plumper/primer that takes lashes from famished to full flutter. It works. I love it.

VIEVE SUNSET BLUSH BALM £21
Containing skin-loving ingredients, this luminous buildable formula adds a natural veil of colour to the cheeks in the most glowy, flattering way. Piazza is my favourite post-hols shade.
LISA ELDRIDGE BAUME EMBRACE MELTING LIP COLOUR £26
This buttery, balmy, melting lip colour contains lip care goodness and gives a glass-shine finish. I’m currently sporting Sweet Fig but it comes in a range of gorgeous easy-to-wear shades.
