NEVER A FROWN

Beauty fads come and go, slower than they ought to in the brow domain, unless perma-livid is your preferred facial expression, but clichéd as it sounds, good skin is always in fashion.

S o, as new year’s resolutions to go to the gym and only drink wine at weekends were half-heartedly committed to smartphone diaries, I decided, more realistically, to make a bit more effort with my face this year.  To clean it, hydrate it and nourish it in an attempt to achieve the much coveted, ever elusive healthy glow. That and to stop frowning which  has been much easier said than done given that it has little to do with skincare and everything to do with life being a bit bonkers.

A few weeks in and with the help of these beauties, some old faithful faves and some new, I’m doing ok.  No one else has noticed, obviously, but then I won’t be taking off my balaclava till April so there’s not much to see. But come the spring, I shall emerge smoother faced and radiant. And probably with a fringe.  The best frown concealer of all.
