A round up of some of the favourite Yorkshire food festivals we’ll be tucking into over the coming months.
Ilkley Food Festival
Ilkley Food Festival | 11 – 12 June 2022
From the good people who brought you the North Leeds Food and Drink Festival, Ilkley’s version has just as much to offer and after last year’s success, it is back with the beer and bubbly tents, street food shacks, chef demos and tastings. Located on the banks of the River Wharfe, this picture-perfect setting has everything you need for a family fun-filled weekend and comes highly recommended.
Harrogate Food & Drink Festival
25 – 26 June & 3 – 4 September 2022
Family fun within the grounds of Ripley Castle with live music, chef demos from the region’s best restaurants, artisan craft stalls and the finest selection of food and drink all served up in an atmospheric setting. Wander around the stalls, chill in a deckchair or explore the inflatable wonderland with the kids.
Yorkshire Dales Food and Drink Festival
23 – 24 July 2022
Head to the Funkirk Farm Camping grounds in the magnificent Yorkshire Dales this summer and rub shoulders with celebrity chef guests inclusing James Martin and The Hairy Bikers; dance the night away to great live music or relax by the campfires at this year’s 5th instalment of the Yorkshire Dales Food and Drink Festival.
Malton Food Lovers Festival
27 – 29 August 2022
Dubbed Yorkshire’s food capital, Malton’s annual Food Lovers Fest welcomes foodies from all over the country and this year will be no exception. Celebrating all things Yorkshire, expect a wealth of artisan stalls, kids cookery classes, cask and craft ale bars, food tastings, live music and demos galore.
YORK Food & DRINK Festival
23 September – 2 October 2022
If Yorkshire Food Festivals sprawling through the city centre sound more like your thing, then The York Food and Drink Festival could be the one for you this summer. With three separate festivals stretched from April to September, you have options. Sample the flavours of the Taster festival, a festival dedicated to all things chocolate, or experience the main event at their September Festival with live chef demos, art, stalls and kids baking fiestas.
