In the world of cars, few places capture the spirit of the motoring culture quite like The Motorist. Known for its welcoming atmosphere, impressive event calendar, and thriving community of car lovers, it has always been about more than just vehicles. It’s about people too.

Located on the outskirts of Leeds, it regularly welcomes over 2,000 visitors every weekend, and as its popularity has grown, so too has the appetite of everybody who comes to visit.

And so now, three years after first opening their doors, The Motorist, is once again moving up the gears with the creation of a new and exciting food and beverage offering in the shape of Mo’s Kitchen, where family and friends can share a relaxing meal in one of the most unique dining destinations in Yorkshire.

Situated in the heart of the venue, where floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light and offer you a front-row view of the action outside, Mo’s Kitchen is a casual and relaxed place to meet friends, share a meal with family or sip a coffee whilst admiring the motoring memorabilia that adorns the walls or the vintage cars that often pull up outside or are on display in the restaurant.

Delivering hearty classics like fish and chips, The Motorist Pie, burgers, sharing doughs and a wide array of pizzas which will be cooked up in the kitchen’s new state-of-the-art pizza oven, the new menu is geared to all the family with a Kid’s Eat Free offer available during school holidays and a free Hot Wheels toy given to every child when they order a three-course kids meal.

Alongside the weekday menu, Mo’s Kitchen will continue to serve up The Motorist’s legendary Sunday roasts every week which will only enhance its reputation further as the perfect destination to enjoy a sensational motoring, shopping and dining experience, all under one roof.

Fronted by Mo, the charming mascot, who stands for everything the venue believes in: character, community, and good times shared over great cars and delicious food, they have also created a mouth-watering new ‘lite’ menu to suit off-peak periods which includes  breakfast, brunch, deli plates and lunch classics. The fully licensed restaurant will also serve up a wine list to complement the main menu plus a wide selection of spirits, ciders and beers and is one of the few places to serve Hawkstone beer on tap.

Talking about the launch of Mo’s Kitchen Alec Howarth, the Managing Director of The Motorist said: “After much discussion and careful consideration, we decided the time was right to take our food and beverage offering in a new and exciting direction.

“Our goal is to implement a more casual and relaxed dining experience, that reflects our customers’ needs.

“What we won’t be changing though is the lovely, light, open space that the restaurant offers, the English breakfasts, the Sunday dinners, and the burgers which we’re proud to be bringing with us on our new venture.”

As well as mouth-watering food at The Motorist there’s also a great gift shop, a garage and bodyshop, wedding, meeting and event spaces plus a calendar that is packed with themed events all year round.
