This month at beyond we have been mainly…..

Partying
We’ve all been starved of some serious partying over the past year, so as soon as we could we were down at Chow Down in Leeds to get in the mood. Back for the summer this is one of our favourite open-air drinking and dining venues in the heart of the city where great vibes, cool sounds and delicious street food are always on the menu.
Located at Temple Arches this is one place we strongly recommend you check out over the coming months.

Hanging
We’re massive fans of Scottish artist and screen printer Charlie Anderson and love his epic post-punk paintings composed of ripped-up posters, magazines, street flyers and newspapers.
Check out his website and order his brilliant work at: charlie-anderson.co.uk
Drinking
The good people at Fok Hing Gin have been plying us with their latest creation and apart from having a brilliant name, we think they’re pretty damn good at making gin too. Distilled in Great Britain with the spirit of Hong Kong, let East meet West the next time you pour yourself a gin and embrace this tasty tipple that is picking up awards left right and fok hing centre for its great taste.
Order your bottle at: fokhinggin.com and quote FOKHINGLOVE to get a 10% discount.
Playing
There’s two albums that have been getting plenty of airtime in the beyond HQ this month. First up is Utopian Ashes, a striking and soulful collaboration between Primal Scream’s Bobby Gillespie and Jenny Beth from Savages (out on July 2); and second is Fat Pop, the latest release from the brilliant Paul Weller which he completed during the dark days of lockdown and is out now.
Relaxing
Combining a day in the beautiful Dales whilst getting pampered at the same time is very much our kind of thing and so may we recommend a trip to the Secret Spa at The Devonshire Arms. Enjoy all the spa facilities at this haven of tranquillity but in the comfort of your own private bell tent with a selection of treatments and goodies lined up to enjoy.
