The Insider

HEAVENLY PIECE

As decades go, the 70s brought us much in the way of iconic design, both in terms of fashion and interiors, and certainly marked the beginning of a new era in furniture design. Enter world leading furniture designers, Roche Bobois and their famously fabulous Mah Jong sofa, designed in collaboration with artist and designer Hans Hopfer in 1971. It’s uniqueness is in its versatility and limitless options of configuration along with a stunningly simple, low-slung approach to comfort.

And just as this design masterpiece celebrates its 50th birthday, Redbrick welcomes Roche Bobois into its fold at the glorious interiors hub near Leeds. Home to over forty carefully curated inspirational stores such as Heal’s BoConcept and Natuzzi, the luxury brand fits right in.

ALL IS BRIGHT

Lamps are transformative, creating beautiful pockets of light and ambience. With careful selection, they work as well switched off as they do when lit. Never skimp on lamps either. You need plenty.  They are game-changers.
