A round up of some of the favourite Yorkshire food festivals we’ll be tucking into over the coming months.

ILKLEY FOOD FESTIVAL

15th – 16th June

Growing in size and popularity every year, Ilkley will again play host to another food extravaganza featuring beer and bubbly tents, artisan markets, street food shacks, chef demos and tastings. Located on the banks of the picturesque River Wharfe, this idyllic setting has everything you need for a family fun-filled family weekend.

HARROGATE FOOD & DRINK FESTIVAL

29th – 30th June The Stray
24th – 26th August Ripley Castle

Two popular Harrogate events return to The Stray and Ripley Castle this year and promise to serve up another incredible interactive tasting experience and two weekends full of entertainment. As always there’ll be plenty of family fun with live music, chef demos from the region’s best restaurants, artisan craft stalls and the finest selection of food and drink from across Yorkshire.

ILKLEY TROPHY

15th – 22th June

As well as serving up world class tennis throughout the week, there’ll be no shortage of delicious food and drink at this year’s tournament. With a huge food village, a fine dining hospitality suite, a big screen showing the Euro 2024 action and plenty of Pimms to enjoy in Ilkley’s largest beer garden, it promises to be an unforgettable week with free entry in the evenings.

YORKSHIRE DALES FOOD & DRINK FESTIVAL

19th – 21st July

The UK’s biggest food and drink festival returns to Funkirk Farm, near Skipton this year with another fabulous line-up of celebrity chefs including James Martin, Si King and Gok Wan, who will cooking up a storm in the tents.

Live music from Heather Small, Blue, plus the one and only Chesney Hawkes, will fill the airwaves and there’ll be no shortage of workshops, big top events and beer tents to keep everybody happy at one of the most exciting and action-packed foodie fests of the year.

RIVERSIDE FOOD & DRINK FESTIVAL, WETHERBY

27th – 28th July

Expect a wonderful Wetherby welcome to the festival this year where a delicious showcase of international street food and drinks, live music, artisian markets, comedy acts and cookery demonstrations await. With eight independent bars lined-up as well, this promises to be the perfect spot to while away a summer weekend.

YORK FOOD & DRINK FESTIVAL

20th – 29th September

If a city centre food festival is more up your alley, then York could be the place to head in September for a week-long gastronomic treat. This year the York Food and Drink Festival will bring over 100 food and drink producers to showcase the best of Yorkshire produce along the streets of this enchanting old city. Throw in celebrity chefs, live music, exhibitions, plenty to drink and it all adds up to a festival you won’t want to miss.
