All fall down
With autumn fast approaching, one thing to look forward to is the fashion. Be a step ahead of the game and refresh your fall and winter wardrobe with these runway-lead trends.
PRIM ‘N’ PROPER
Pussybow blouses, boucle and tweed were notably popular on the catwalks. Parisian fashion house Chloé carries on this emerging theme in its new collection with this ultra-feminine, cream, silk crepe de chine shirt. Featuring a heavily ruffled collar and an effortless silhouette, it’s perfect to tuck into these Saint Laurent wool-blend shorts. Woven with a retro iridescent metallic thread, these 70s inspired shorts will keep you shining throughout the season.
Cast in the label’s renowned monogram, the Gucci Dionysus Supreme bag is crafted with taupe suede panels and adorned with the cult tiger head closure. This is a signature piece that you need to invest in.
To finish off the look, these round frame sunglasses from Celine, in a soft honey acetate, complement the neutral colour palette beautifully.

HELL YES TO LEATHER
Leather is making another comeback, but this time it is pushing the boundaries even further.
This new-season Alexander McQueen skirt paves the way, compellingly vampish in style, it’s a stand-out piece yet also very easy to dress up or down, making it a perfect addition to your autumnal wardrobe. Crafted from butter-soft black lambskin with a silk lining for comfort, it is designed with interlocking panelling that creates a pleating effect along the midi
length hem.
Here we have teamed it with a Saint Laurent branded sweatshirt, where the label’s logo has had an 80s inspired adaption, adding a vibrant pop of colour. To complement the colours in the sweat is the designer-stamped strap from this Marc Jacobs snapshot bag.
Nail the off-duty look with a pair of clean white trainers. These Valentino open leather sneakers feature a black stripe panel which ties in with the rest of the outfit.

FALL WORTHY FLORALS
The runways proved that florals aren’t just for the summer season, we saw them toughened up in a more grunge colour palette for the autumn months.
The Oblivion georgette skirt from Australian label Keepsake is a great starting point. Designed in a bold floral print over a discreet striped background, the skirt also features a ruffled asymmetric hem. Team with this hooded sweatshirt from Acne Studios, the Stockholm-based label known for their range of luxury essentials, to dress down the skirt in a cool but cosy way.
To ensure you are weather-ready, add the Valentino Garavani leather boots. With a chunky, gripped sole and an unmistakable gold logo plaque, they are the perfect biker-chick yet chic footwear choice.
To finish off the look is the GV3 bag from Givenchy, named after the fashion house’s Parisian address, it is crafted in tan leather with suede panelling and displays the label’s logo in a brushed-gold finish.
