SING IT FROM THE ROOFTOPS

Dakota Leeds has announced its outdoor terrace is open for the summer and with a fresh new seasonal menu we couldn’t wait to enjoy a night of alfresco dining.

D akota Leeds holds one of the city’s best kept secrets. Walk through the reception and upstairs to the first floor of this luxury hotel and behind a discreet door you will find Leeds’ largest gin collection, a glass-covered rooftop terrace overlooking bustling Greek Street and live music every weekend.

From this beautiful vantage point you’ll also have a birds’ eye view of the streets below and if this summer is anything like the last one, it is the perfect place to relax and sample the brand-new food menu.

From superfood salads and sharing boards, to melt-in-your-mouth sandwiches and Dakota classics, including traditional fish and chips, fillet burger, steak-frites and vegetable pappardelle, there’s an array of choice designed to suit every occasion and why stop there?

If you haven’t sampled the Dakota cocktail menu, which is infused with Hollywood glamour, where have you been? From old school vodka martinis to brand new creations like Bobby Dazzler and Chica Bonita, this is a place which takes its drinks seriously.

Using only premium spirits, quality mixers and hand-crafted garnishes, at Dakota years of experience, creativity and just a little alchemy go into turning each glass into a work of art.

And if your favourite drink isn’t on the menu, just ask. The skilled team will happily mix you a bespoke drink of your choice and then the only thing to do is make for the terrace, adorned with faux furs and outdoor heating for those cooler evenings, and enjoy it in style.

Andrew Creese, General Manager at Dakota Leeds, said: “We are delighted to reopen our terrace bar on Greek Street with a brand-new food menu. The terrace is a popular spot for the warmer months, designed to be somewhere people can drop by at any time of the day – be it for a quick lunch, drinks with friends or those looking to make an evening of it.”
